CLEAR Package Deals End February 28th!
We just got the official word this morning in writing, that the current package deals (Pick1, Pick2, Pick3) will end at midnight on Sunday, February 28th!
So for those of you who were snoozing and waiting until the last minute, that time is now!
Yes, there are some new offers that take effect on Monday, March 1st, but we can’t release them yet.
Suffice to say, some of the prices are going up! Such as the (former) PICK2 with 2 USB modems. And there is no more price guarrantee for life on the package deals any more. But you can “upgrade” any USB modem in a bundle to the 4G Plus (4G / 3G combo) for only $15/month each, on new activations only, we suspect.
Currently, you can get a single USB 4G PLUS modem for $55/month and you can buy it out right for $99.99. (Up until early February, that puppy was going for $70/month and $224.99 each. ) Yes, you also get charge for sales tax on the purchase or lease, $4.95 shipping and don’t forget the $35 activation if you don’t go on a 2yr contract. This runs on the 4G network with unlimited usage allowed, but limited to 5gb on the 3G network (using Sprint PCS 3G’s network). That might sound like a limitation, but unless you are into downloading lots of large movies or videos on the go, at a really slow 3G speed, that 5G will be plenty enough. As a dealer, we’ve only used about 3Gb on our 4G USB modem to date, and we’re on it every day using it heavilly.
The sale price of the USB 4G Plus Modem goes back up to the normal $224.99 unit cost when the special price expires at midnight on Sunday! Ouch! You can still lease it on a 2 year contract at only $5.99, which adds up to about $144 over the 2yr contract period, cheaper than buying it.
