My Sprint EVO Keeps On Going And Going…

Thanks to a portable battery used to recharge my EVO on the go,  I can go all day without running out of battery power on my Sprint EVO.   I first learned about this device while reading my favorite EVO website, www.GoodandEVO.net.   

G&E Webmaster Jenn K. Lee did a very complete review of the Splash Intense 54oo mAhr portable battery that has 2 USB ports for charging devices or running them, and a single micro USB port for inbound charging.

The Splash Intense comes with a retractable USB cable and a handful of different tips compatible with various cell phones and media players.

Preparing For Sprint HTC EVO 4G Phone

We scouted around the Internet, and then visited our local Best Buy and Radio Shack stores in person, trying to find the best deals on the upcoming Sprint HTC EVO 4G phone that is being released on Friday, June 4th.  Once we get our own Sprint EVO phone, we’ll be doing some extensive testing and shoot some YouTube videos to share our experiences with you on our website.

We found that Radio Shack ended their “Pre-Order” phase last Thursday without informing their local stores first.   Preorders required a $50 down payment, but Radio Shack had been giving out a $20 gift card to be redeemed on accessories for the phone.

Radio Shack’s manager (Tezel Road) told me they expected to have extra units available on Friday morning, June4th, to service orders from walk-in customers, but wasn’t sure how many each store would have on hand, so we needed to be there bright and early when the store opened.  He said Radio Shack had about 20,000 units on order nationwide.
